Deploy the report in the jasper server : Part 1

First, need to connect iReport to the repository. Select Jasper report Server Repository in theWindow menu to show the repository navigator.

 

                 Then click on 'Add new server' to create a new server.

                 

     

                              Enter a name as Jasper server Repository, and the username and password (for the samples        jasperadmin/jasperadmin), and save. If then click on the server in the repository navigator, we get the following:

              

            

Bounded with red colour box shows               : - Local data sources

Bounded with green colour box shows           : - Server data sources

Bounded with blue colour box shows              : - Report already deployed on the server

If preview the report from the server need to define server data source. In generally can preview the report via the local data source.
