Creating a simple report using iReport

         Jaspersoft iReport Designer collapse Fields menu in the report inspector. After that selected fields list down with this.

          

      After that can drag and drop appeared fields to report details section.by default header name drag and drop to the column header section .then want to adjust headers to readable manner. Note that if drag and drop the fields IDE should be in Designer mode .but three is another two modes. These are XML and Preview mode.

          

          Want to save the created report .then click on the compile report button and fresh the report.

          

        

      Then go to the preview menu and select the preview mode as your wish. In this case have selected PDF preview. Then output will display as PDF format. 

          

         

           Then click on the preview button and PDF output will display as below. Report executed and data retrieved success
