OBIEE 11g–Creating New Users

Login to weblogic administration console and on left side panel click on Security Realm and Click on myrealm in the right side panel
Weblogic Administration console : http://<SERVER IP>:7001/console/
User name                                         : weblogic
Password                                           : Request from the BI administrator

Click on the Users and Groups tab and below select users tab again and then click New As shoen in the below screenshot.

In the Create new user page provide the following information.
1. NAme : Enter the name of the user
2. Description :- Select the description
3. Password: Enter a password for the user that shoud have at least eight characters.
4. Confim password: Re enter the same password
5. Create user by providing all deatils and click ok button.

Configure group membership for the user
Click on Security realm –> myrealm
Then click on USers and Groups and users tabs. In that click on the user .

Click on the Groups tab in the next window. In available Groups select created group and move to chosen windows as shown below.

Click Save.
