SAP Business Objects Data Services - Merge Transform

Merge transform is basically used to combine multiple incoming data sets to produce a 

single output dataset with the same schema (structure) as that of the input data set.

This is same as performing SQL UNION ALL operation.

Make two source tables which are having same column names, no of columns and data types.

Add two separate queries as well.

Map the schema in and schema out accordingly.

Drag the merge transformation under “TransformationsPlatformMerge”.

Make a target table using template table or existing table. 

Connect every table accordingly.

Validate and Execute the Job.

Compare results with the expected output.
