OBIEE 11g :- Usage of SUBSTRING Formula.

In here We can do string manupulation.
SUBSTRING(expr FROM startPos FOR length)
expr is any expression that evaluates to a character string.
startPos is positive integer that represents the number of characters from the start of the left side of the string where the result is to begin.

Go to Criterial – Select the Column – Right Click – Select Edit Formula – Click on Insert function – click on String folder and select Substring
