How to Install Oracle 11g Database on Windows 7

You can download from Oracle website for the installation files:

http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/database/enterprise-edition/downloads/112010-win64soft-094461.html

Download the two ZIP files to a temporary directory.

win32_11gR2_database_1of2.zip

win32_11gR2_database_2of2.zip

Unzip both of the ZIP files to the SAME FOLDER. In other words,
do not unzip them to folders named “win32_11gR2_database_1of2” and “win32_11gR2_database_2of2”.
Instead, just unzip them to the current directory which should produce one “database” directory.

Run setup.exe program. At the Welcome screen, click the Next> button.

Select the installation method. in here i'm installing basic installation.
