SAP Business Objects Data Services - Date Transform

Date_Generation transform is used for creating time dimension tables. This transform generates a column which holds the date values based on the start & end dates provided as an input to the transform by considering the increment provided to it.

-                     Drag the Date_Generation transform to the canvas.

-                     Change the content as follows.

-          Take a query.

-          Add new columns on week, quarter, last_date and relevantly.

-          Map the following changes on “Functions”.

Click “Next”.

     Add the Date type

-          Click “Finish”.

      Add Template table.

-          Compare the output.
